You can also use a heat gun to shape the foam further which can then be glued and applied to other materials.

Needed time to “fluff up"

The EVA foam triangle dowels looked kind of smashed from their packaging, but after lying them out the letting them “fluff up” for a day or so, they looked great! This kind of a piece comes in handy for some detail work and would have been a pain to try to manufacture myself.
